A BIT OF MY PAST
February 22, 2014 1 CommentAlready 22 years of my life has gone, and after everything I have gone through, I still yearn for more. It must be something I picked up during my childhood that facing challenge alone will make one stronger. And challenges are something that have been constant in my life. The farthest I can remember in my past is me and my family living in a small rented room near my father’s working place. That place used to be like chocolate factory from roald dahl’s novel. The mixed smell of strawberry and chocolate always used to surround me when I used to wake up early in the morning. The small bakery shop that my father used to own was running quite well in the locality. But time is one of the things that always keeps on changing. As natural to a businessman my father always wanted to expand his business. He found a partner too. But soon, as he told me later, he learnt the most important lesson in his life and that is to believe on no human being. Because he got cheated and he lost all he had, the only thing left with him were us, his family that included my mother, me and my small brother. But I guess from the place where I am today I can still say that everything that happens, happens for the good.
Currently my mother is working as an accountant while my small brother and my little sister are continuing their study. In my case, being freshly out of a job where I sacrificed half a decade of my life, am doing something quite different. From being a teacher surrounded by numerous students to a video editor surrounded by many gadgets and gizmos. Dealing with so many changes is quite a challenge and as most of the time a voice in my head tells to me, never quit.

An inspiring story to read, though one can only guess how painful it must have been for you to grow through the rough rides of life.
